"Flipper-Flopper", Or "Why Ignatieff Should Keep Quiet"

From the man who did not lose sleep over Qana comes this:
"I was a professor of human rights, and I am also a professor of the laws of war, and what happened in Qana was a war crime, and I should have said that. That's clear."
My, that's quite a change in rhetoric there!

But, seriously, I don't get it. Why would a politician, for no reason what-so-ever, further compound a mistake he made last summer?

He's an inexperienced politician, I tell ya. That's what the Liberals need in a leader right now.
